MAX ROMEO - Revelation Time - LP €14.99 (17 North Parade) - Recorded at Randy’s Studio 17 and Lee Perry’s Black Ark, Max Romeo’s Revelation Time is rightfully regarded as one of the cornerstones of Jamaican music. Released in JA in 1975 on Black World, the album was picked by United Artist for US release and later by listed in The Rough Guide to Reggae as one of the essential reggae albums to own. Includes the classic Lee Perry production Three Blind Mice and one of the all-time high-grade ganja anthems A Quarter Pound Of I’Cense.

Available on double clear vinyl and double CD, the reissue contains the original album plus remastered tracks from the oft-bootlegged live show from Chicago in 1991, known as Isolation 21.2.91, a holy grail amongst fans.

A rapturous blend of post-rock and post-classical, Forever Blue smoulders with uncoiling melodies and haunted atmospheres, shifting from serenity to explosive drama, often within the same song. Williams is a fantastic musician as well as songwriter, playing the guitar, cello and piano, and her voice has the controlled delivery of a seasoned chanteuse whilst still channelling the rawest of emotions

Keleketla! - Keleketla! - 2LP €25.99 (Ahead Of Our Time) - Keleketla! started as a musical meeting ground between Ninja Tune cofounders Coldcut and a cadre of South African musicians (introduced by the charity In Place Of War), including the raw, South African-accented jazz styles of Sibusile Xaba, and rapper Yugen Blakrok (Black Panther OST). From those initial sessions, the record grew to encompass a wider web of musical luminaries, including Afrobeat architects Tony Allen and Dele Sosimi, legendary L.A. spoken word pioneers The Watts Prophets, and West Papuan activist Benny Wenda.

T.Rex - Truck On - 7" Blue Vinyl €11.99 / Picture Disc €12.99 (Easy Action) - he last year of recordings of the classic line up of T. Rex {Marc Bolan, Steve Currie, Mickey Finn, Bill Legend) and with Tony Visconti producing. Recorded in the U.S and Germany less than a month apart. Truck On having been demoed acoustically in Tony Visconti’s flat with wife Mary (Hopkins) harmonising in October 1971 it took 20 months to actually record the song, which was then issued as a single within the next 5 months in November 1973 and was the first T.Rex single to not enter the top 10 stalling as it did at 13. This version is less polished and much more appealing to fans than the released version it’s been argued. Satisfaction Pony a re-recorded final version ended up on the B side of the Teenage Dream single in February 1974. These recordings from Marc’s own tapes (part of the material stolen from his and Gloria s house and now repatriated with the estate)

Produced by Irish electronic artist Eomac (one half of R&S Records’ Lakker), the EP fuses Yallah’s breakneck Luganda language rapping with Eomac’s powerful, purposeful beats. Formed remotely between Dublin and Kampala, Mama Wailwamanyii represents several months of work, sending beats, loops and song-stems back and forth until the results boiled down to the two vital cuts of exhilarating, experimental, unpredictable hip-hop that make up the EP
