Young the Giant are a rock band from Irvine, California, known for their dynamic live shows and their sound, characterized by soulful vocals, layered instrumentation, and introspective lyrics. Since their breakthrough in 2010 with the platinum singles "My Body" and "Cough Syrup," they have been among the defining voices of alternative rock, combining anthemic energy with deeply personal storytelling.

With their album "Victory Garden," the band explores the concept of radical empathy—the struggle between life and death, and love and fear, seen through the eyes of their own children. The title refers to the so-called "Victory Gardens" that were established during the war to strengthen and provide for local communities.

The album, too, is a call for collective, conscious action and a tribute to all that is human and beautiful in a time caught between escapism and hopelessness.
