• Limited edition 2LP pressed on two 180-gram LPs
• Cut to lacquers at half-speed
• Packaged in a gatefold jacket featuring new artwork based on the original 2001 designs
This edition of Yes’ 19th studio album “Magnification” was cut to lacquers at half-speed and pressed on two 180-gram LPs to deliver a highly detailed playback and is packaged in a gatefold jacket featuring new artwork based on the original 2001 designs.
Originally released in September 2001, “Magnification”, from progressive rock legend Yes, was their first studio album to feature an orchestra since 1970’s “Time and a Word”. With orchestral arrangements by composer Larry Groupé and performed by the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, “Magnification” features the title track, “Don’t Go” and “In The Presence Of”, which were featured on their Yessymphonic Tour in support of the album, while “Give Love Each Day” features bassist Chris Squire on vocals.
This is the last Yes studio album with Jon Anderson on vocals, and with the absence of a keyboard player, the first to feature only 4 members of Yes.
The Yes lineup for “Magnification” is:
Jon Anderson - Lead Vocals, MIDI guitar
Steve Howe - Acoustic, electric & pedal steel guitars, backing vocals
Chris Squire - Bass, backing vocals, lead vocals on “Can You Imagine”
Alan White - Drums, piano, backing vocals
