VUW - Inner Moon [Japanese Import] VUW

Based in Nagoya, VUW draws on their R&B- and soul-influenced music to pursue a minimalist sound stripped down to its essentials and a distinctive groove that makes full use of the spaces between notes.

Their first full-length album, "Inner Moon", takes the night as its central theme, capturing the shifting times and sensations experienced across nights of many different colours and shapes in a collection of 10 tracks. From the exhilaration drifting through the city in the small hours to the peace of spending time alone in silence, and the loneliness and warmth hidden in the depths of the night, VUW portrays the many facets of nighttime through its signature minimalist sound and supple grooves.
