– Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds
(Motion Picture Soundtrack)
LP – Limited Edition Translucent Blood Red Vinyl
Warner Music Group celebrates the power of music in film with it’s upcoming vinyl series this September featuring the soundtracks to 9 memorable movies and all will be released on coloured vinyl.
The soundtrack to the Inglourious Basterds motion picture from acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino features rare and previously unavailable tracks chosen by the man himself. As evidenced by the eclectic soundtracks to such previous films as Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, and Kill Bill, Tarantino is a huge music fan and treats music as an important character in each of his films. Tarantino’s long-time music director Mary Ramos says that the Inglourious Basterds Soundtrack is similar to Kill Bill in that “it features Quentin-style ‘deep cuts’ – tracks that record company vaults don’t even have. And because the film centres around a cinema, it includes songs from Nazi-era German screwball comedies and some of the coolest score cuts that have been meticulously chosen from films you’ve most likely never heard of but will want to netflix right away!” It features Morricone, Billy Preston, the Arrows, Lalo Schifrin, Billy Preston, Dimitri Tiomkin etc.
