Éric Neveux has built a career at the crossroads of electronic music, independent music production and film scoring. An electronic music producer and composer under the alias mR.neveux, he co-founded the independent label Microbe in 1998 before devoting himself fully to composing for film and television.

His work has included collaborations with directors such as Patrice Chéreau (Ceux qui m’aiment prendront le train, Intimacy, Persécution), François Ozon (Sitcom, Regarde la mer), Ziad Doueiri (L’Insulte, L’Attentat) and Emmanuelle Bercot (La Tête haute, De son vivant), among others. He has also composed music for several animated films, including Zombillénium, Richard the Stork 1 & 2 and SamSam.

In 2025, he composed the original soundtrack for Fabienne Godet’s film Le Répondeur, starring Salif Cissé, Clara Bretheau, Denis Podalydès and Aure Atika. The main theme draws on jazz and Baroque influences, as well as the reinterpretations of Wendy Carlos and Jacques Loussier. Widely acclaimed by both the film’s audiences and listeners of its soundtrack, the theme became the starting point for La Messagerie.

He then invited 25 artists to freely explore the original piece and offer their own interpretations. From electronic music to pop, from classical to experimental, each version reveals a new perspective on the the theme. This collection of 25 reinterpretations gives rise to a collaborative album that is eclectic and genre-crossing, conceived as a space for artistic freedom and musical encounters.

La Messagerie is the first release on Tuba Disques, a new label founded by Éric Neveux. With this project, he continues to explore his passion for collaboration and for bringing artists and musical worlds together.
