With ‘Cream of the Crop 2026’, Irie Ites Records continues its annual compilation series, established in 2022 as one of the label’s key yearly releases.
This new edition brings together a selection of the label’s standout productions of the year, moving between roots reggae, rub-a-dub, digital sounds and sound system culture.

Several tracks had already started building strong momentum ahead of the compilation release, including Chezidek’s ‘Down Down Down’, Micah Shemaiah’s ‘Hell A Go Pop’ and Jah Mason’s ‘’Puff Puff Puff’, while a number of new cuts complete the 2026 edition.
The vinyl edition features 12 carefully selected vocal cuts. The CD extends the experience with 7 additional dub versions, continuing the Jamaican tradition of vocal & version.
