Ulma - Beo Ulma

Following and inspired by a string of performances earlier in the year, BEO’ is a live studio recording that encapsulates the band performing the songs that first establish the identity of ULMA.
Influenced by Post-Rock, Trip-Hop, Traditional Irish, Gaze, doom/drone - and composing in English and in Gaeilge, ULMA adapt and weave a raucous tapestry of identity, interpolating lyrics and melody from the Irish Folk Corpus.

BEO contains 6 original songs as well as a cover of Bob Marley’s ‘’Natural Mystic’’, opening with ‘’Óengus’ Dream’’. A telling of an ancient Irish mythological tale interpreted with a slow crushing bass riff and noxious feedback.
The cassette closes with ‘’Bean Sídhe’’ an atmospheric trip-hop dance mix with black metal guitar textures.
BEO was recorded, produced, mixed by ULMA, and mastered by Jamie Hyland.

Includes unlimited streaming of BEO via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
