To mark the 45th anniversary of Desire, Crammed Discs present a reissue of this seminal album recorded by one of the first bands of the Californian underground culture with an enigmatic name, Tuxedomoon.
The band's second studio album, recorded in John Foxx’s studio, delivers a new wave aesthetic, creating unique, atmospheric and colourful moods.
Particular care has been taken with the remastering based on the original master tapes to remove hiss, to improve dynamics and the signal-to-noise ratio and to highlight certain frequencies, all while preserving the original spirit of the recording.
Likewise, special care was taken during the lacquer engraving process to achieve the best possible sound quality by engraving more deeply for a more vivid sound. This audiophile edition will delight even the most demanding fans.
This version includes several previously unreleased tracks and is accompanied by a magnificent booklet enriched with previously unpublished photos and numerous testimonials from famous artists, proving that this album undoubtedly is a masterpiece.
