Originally released in 2001 on London’s Motion Records -  a label championed by The Skatalites. Herb Dub Collie Dub is the rare dub version of their The Legendary Skatalites (Jam Sounds) album, recorded in the mid-1970s at Aquarius and Black Ark studios.

The album features a heavyweight lineup including Augustus Pablo, Jackie Mittoo, Ernest Ranglin, Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace, and more. Across eight spaced-out tracks, it blends deep rhythms with surreal effects - Roots Dub and Dumboo Dub twist through psychedelic textures, while Sealing Dub breaks into a funk-driven groove showcasing Benbow Creary’s drumming.
