Known for their 1965 hit Keep On Dancing, The Gentrys were a Memphis garage rock band that joined Sun Records as the label moved to Nashville in 1970. It's Been So Long is a collection of rare grooves and previously unreleased tracks from the Sun vault, showcasing The Gentrys, led by iconic WWE manager and personality Jimmy Hart, and produced by Knox Phillips, son of Sun Records founder Sam Phillips.
It's Been So Long reveals a softer side of the band, blending Laurel Canyon-style harmonies with their signature Memphis rock sound.
