Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots was released in 2002, as the follow-up to The Soft Bulletin, and is the band’s best-selling album with over 700,000 sales in the U.S. (certified Gold). It is also certified Gold in the UK (300,000 sales) and Australia. The albums notably features one of the band’s most popular songs “Do You Realize”, plus the singles “Fight Test”, “Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell”, and the title track. The band embarked on a 2 year tour to support the album. This 6 CD set release compiles the original album, demos, EPs, b-sides to the multiple singles released, highlights of the many radio sessions the band did, plus two unreleased live concerts.
