"With 40 years’ combined experience starting with compulsively seeking out and hoarding obscure records, then playing in terrible indie bands, progressing to reasonably good indie bands that didn’t quite make it, and ending up working with some of the ‘Biggest Bands in The World’ (TM), the Dunning-Kruger Effect have paid their dues in advance. Summer of 2020 saw the duo with unused studio time and the opportunity for distilling all the music they’d previously been filling their heads with into their debut record... For fans of DJ Shadow, KLF, Spacemen 3, Can, The Avalanches, Lemon Jelly, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, ? And The Mysterians, The Focus Group and other big beat drums, bass, guitar, organ and analogue synth psychik adventures in stereo."
