The Diddley Idols - UnTraditional The Diddley Idols

The Diddley Idols are so excited to finally present their long-awaited Irish-inspired album UNtraditional.

Traditional Irish, Celtic, original and folk favourites done The Diddley Idols way! Following the release of their singles, Zombie featuring the “Jimi Hendrix of the Fiddle”, Eileen Ivers, and a very funky Rocky Road to Dublin, The Diddley Idols wondered what else they could mess with.

With influences spanning all genres of music, the dynamic duo with the full band sound are a breath of fresh air... that hits like a tornado!

UNtraditional aims to tickle every part of the listener’s brain with pure joy, exuberance and so much heart.

The Diddley Idols are the dynamic duo with the full band sound. Dave Barckow (Queens, NYC) and Louise Barry (Dublin, Ireland). A chance encounter and undeniable chemistry led to the formation of the World Record holding “The Diddley Idols” in 2013.

As two lead vocalists, the addition of Dave’s unique foot-operated drum kit and guitar and Louise’s ukulele and one-of-a-kind melodic percussion prove that “great things really do come in small packages!”

A “live tour de force”, their high-octane mix of pop and Irish traditional tunes and all the party rock you can handle will have you singing and dancing all night long. Dave’s energy and ability to chat to anyone make him a crowd favourite, while you can often find professional dancer Louise doing a step anywhere there’s space.
