LP - White & Gold Splatter Vinyl
Arguably the most bizarre, eccentric and original band of the anarcho punk era, its little surprise that the band was a favourite of both John Peel and Crass's Penny Rimbaud, who produced their material.
A bizarre fact about The Cravats was that while they existed as the Cravats, they also existed as The Very Things (who had a hit with The Bushes Scream While My Daddy Prunes), the Babymen and the DCL Locomotive who had an unlikely indie hit with a cover of The Hollies King Midas in Reverse.
The Colossal Tunes Out was originally released on Crass's Corpus Christi label. Legend has it that some of the material on this record was bootlegged, with John Peel's permission, from a re run of one of their four Peel sessions, he even promised not to talk over the beginning or end of the songs. An indie chart top ten release when it came out, this album hasn't been available for over fifteen years and has never been available in coloured vinyl
The record is pressed on white and gold splatter vinyl... again, a first time for this record
