2LP - Limited Edition Ashen and Pewter Grey 140g vinyl. Housed in a rigid tip-on foiled, embossed and debossed gatefold sleeve with new liner notes and updated artwork. Black paper inners and unseen session photography presented on a 12” double sided art card insert.

Celebrating 20 years since the release of their incredible soundtrack to the experimental soviet documentary film Man With A Movie Camera, The Cinematic Orchestra reissue the album for the first time on 140 gram colour vinyl, in ashen and pewter grey. In a limited edition deluxe foil embossed and debossed gatefold sleeve, the album features updated artwork and new liner notes. With black paper inners, the album also contains previously unseen session photography, presented on a 12” double sided art card insert.

The Cinematic Orchestra, formed by J.Swinscoe and later joined by long-time friend and collaborator Dominic Smith, are one of the UK’s most respected and influential British artists of the last twenty years, creating genre-defying compositions that introduced jazz to a new breed of electronic music fans. Upon its original release in 2002, Every Day was praised for it’s sweeping and dramatic turns through classic soul, jazz, minimalism, electronics buoyed by the guesting calibre of Art Ensemble of Chicago’s Fontella Bass (writer and performer of ‘60s soul masterpiece “Rescue Me”) and indelible UK music legend, Roots Manuva. Pitchfork said it was an “incredibly commanding album” (8.6 review) while The Guardian called it “immaculately proportioned”. Gilles Peterson’s BBC Radio 1 listeners voted it ‘Album Of The Year’ with Peterson’ himself stating “the beauty of Every Day is an understanding of Ron Carter, RZA, June Tyson, Sun Ra, Recloose, Theo Parrish and all that good stuff.”
