That Woman is the solo project of Josie, from duo Oh Wonder. Oh Wonder's debut album sold over 1m copies worldwide, is certified gold in the UK & Canada, and Platinum in Russia & the Philippines. Ant & Josie (Oh Wonder) also own prolific South East London studio, Highwater. There, they have written & recorded with the likes of Bea & her Business, Hutch, Caity Baser, Eric Nam + many more. The whole project is written by Josie, & produced by her bandmate & partner Anthony West (Oh Wonder).

Hymn For A Woman was the first of a series of singles leading up to the album, Find Joy, coming in July 2024. "This project emerged in the space after I made 5 albums with Oh Wonder, finished up a world tour, came home and then thought, "well what's next? There must be more than this." It felt strange that after fulfilling all my wildest dreams a few times over, I still couldn't find peace. So I started writing songs trying to explore where I came from, who I was, why I tried to become an artist, why I was so desperate for external validation, why I couldn't find internal validation, and interestingly how this related to womanhood. I explored idealised expectations of conforming to certain female stereotypes - of being a "good girl", cheerful, smaller, more agreeable - or putting others' needs before my own, such as being a mother or wife. The record has taught me a lot; I've realised that for me these feelings of not being good enough, or not deserving of joy, are so intricately tied to my gender. But making it has definitely allowed me to remove the chains of expectation, stop wrestling myself (which is what the album cover references) and enjoy being entirely myself, as I come."
