The fourth release is the yet another classic, “Solid Gold Easy Action”, originally released in December 1972, these days amongst Marc Bolan’s best remembered songs.

After some weeks at number 3, it peaked in the UK charts at number 2, where it stayed for one week (spending eleven weeks in the charts in total), while Little Jimmy Osmond’s “Long Haired Lover From Liverpool” remained at number 1.
