SYRUP16G - Darc [Japanese Import] SYRUP16G

Originally released in 2016, syrup16g’s ninth album, darc, is being released on vinyl to commemorate the 25th anniversary of DAIZAWA RECORDS.With an eye towards their debut album, COPY, the band delivers eight tracks that pursue rawness and depth. The tension-filled ensemble, captured through dynamic live takes, resonates with Takashi Igarashi’s lyrical expression, which makes masterful use of metaphors, double meanings, and rhyme.Portraying the possibility - or absence - of hope beyond absurdity, regret, and isolation, darc is an addictive record that invites repeated listens.Comes with an obi strip.
