 Inspired by the Japanese myth of the shape-shifting Bakeneko spirit, the album unfolds across seven cinematic tracks full of dynamic shifts, tribal grooves and soaring ambient passages. The addition of a new drummer brings heightened rhythmic depth and intensity.

Bakeneko is both crushing and introspective, a journey through layered soundscapes that embrace psychedelia, doom and post rock with surgical precision.
