Steve Kilbey has assembled this collection from previously unreleased recordings, radio sessions, and overlooked songs discovered while compiling and organising his solo catalogue.
While revisiting his archive, Kilbey uncovered a number of strong, passionate recordings that had never found a home, along with a selection of rare radio sessions that had remained unheard by many fans. Over the course of a year, these tracks were restored and brought together to form this collection.
The album opens with a powerful song originally intended for a film soundtrack and closes with an extraordinary live performance of Lonely Stretch, The Triffids classic, featuring Steve Kilbey with the Hoffmen, Sean, Ricky, and Adrian.
