Recorded shortly before summer 2026, Small Notions  is imbued with the carefree optimism of sunny days and late evenings. “Small Notions was written to manifest change in our lives, as a means to jump forward and break out,” frontman Tom Onezime says. “The songs were written shortly before the studio sessions, creating an urgency to the sound and a fragility that we really value. Small Notions is a product of ambition, sincerity and simplicity that we hope will reach the entire world.”

Spanish Horses’ debut single ‘Hey Man (Hey Man!)’ this summer marked an assured opening statement from the quintet: a sonic support companion to the era’s ubiquitous tension and anxiety, the nauseating everyday routine and the constant fight to break out of it. Consisting of both British and French band members, Spanish Horses formed in Paris before relocating to London to sign their record deal and capitalise upon their growing live reputation on this side of the channel.
