Sophie Cavez & Josefina Paulson - Ögonblick Sophie Cavez & Josefina Paulson

The Belgian accordionist Sophie Cavez and the Swedish nyckelharpa player Josefina Paulson, play tunes influenced by both their traditional dialects and their own musical personalities. In their hands, first priority is always the pulsating rhythm and every note becomes swing-oriented! The rich overtones from the sympathetic strings of the nyckelharpa merging with the warm chords and powerful bass lines from Sophie's accordion creating cinematic soundscapes and a garden of music, both for your ears to find a peaceful rest in and the playful energy to invite you to dance.

This is a double album where the listener is invited to listen to a long story that runs over reflections, moments, changes of the seasons, the big and small in a quiet everyday life. A long line of music where one breath follows the other, where the notes seamlessly weave into each other for 36 minutes without a break.

In the second album the energetic dancefloor pulsates like the heartbeat. 9 sets of songs where the duo is guested by guitarist Roger Tallroth, Remi Decker on bagpipes and Sara Holgado on flamenco vocals. An album for both ears and feet.
