Sofia HK - Flocken Sofia HK

On 20 November, Sofia HK follows up her acclaimed, genre-bending debut ’I Norr’ with her first full-length album. The album - which features guest appearances by, amongst others, Kristian Matsson (The Tallest Man On Earth), Sara Parkman and Levina Storåkern (Aevestaden/Diket), and is produced by Grammis Award-winning Hampus Norén - revolves around the collective, and the need for community and a sense of belonging. The music explores the security of being part of something greater than oneself, but also the experience of finding oneself excluded from it. The lyrics move between love and loneliness, between people and landscape, the city and the village, the body and the soul.

Sofia HK made her debut in 2025 and was soon hailed by SVT Kulturnyheterna, P1 Kultur and Lira as one of the great rising stars in a genre somewhere between folk, ballad and melancholy. Her songs took her on a European tour with The Tallest Man On Earth, on whose new album she also features. She has also appeared frequently at key Swedish venues such as Debaser in Stockholm and Alma Löv. Sofia HK’s debut album, Flocken, is due for release in autumn 2026 via Supertraditional, and to mark the album’s release, she has also been selected for GAFFA’s TOP 50: Sweden’s next big names in music.
