'Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake', recorded in late 1967 & early 1968 is by far and away the Small Faces’ best-known and most successful album. Alongside hit singles ‘Lazy Sunday’ & ‘Afterglow’ & classic tracks ‘Rollin’ Over’ & ‘Song Of A Baker’, the album added a conceptual twist with the story of ‘Happiness Stan’ & the narrations of Stanley Unwin. 

A chart-topping success in the UK for 6 weeks, the no.1 album represents the band’s finest hour, though soon after release, the Small Faces were no more, having morphed into The Faces and Humble Pie.
