Slow Pulp - Melodie Slow Pulp
Indie exclusive opaque blue vinyl LP edition
With only two albums to their name, Slow Pulp have emerged as one of the defining bands of a generation raised on ’90s alternative rock radio and shaped by the indie wave of the 2000s.
Their new album, Melodie, released on September 18, was produced by Elliott Kozel, whose credits include SZA, Lizzo, Jean Dawson, and Rosalía. Co-written by band members Emily Massey and Henry Stoehr, Melodie sees Slow Pulp expanding beyond their shoegaze roots into new sonic territory, blending pop-leaning hooks and melodies with the band's signature sound.
Following tours supporting Lucy Dacus, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Postal Service, the band will play their biggest hometown show to date at the Salt Shed, alongside dates in New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Los Angeles, and San Diego this autumn.
Melodie follows the critically acclaimed sophomore album Yard. The record earned widespread praise from publications including Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, Pitchfork, Billboard, The FADER, and Stereogum, with Variety declaring it "one of 2023's best rock records."
