Divine Intervention is the sixth studio album by American thrash metal band Slayer, released on September 27, 1994, through American Recordings. The album is a relentless and ferocious showcase of the band’s sound, further cementing Slayer’s status as one of the defining forces in thrash metal. Its dark, aggressive tone and blistering speed mark a return to the band’s roots.

This release also marked the debut of drummer Paul Bostaph, who replaced founding member Dave Lombardo following his departure in 1992. The cover art, created by Wes Benscoter, reimagines Slayer’s iconic “Slayergram” logo.
