Following the sell-out of its original pressing, DeepMatter Records reissue SHOLTO’s The Sirens.

The Sirens is the third album from London-based cinematic jazz artist SHOLTO, following the widely supported double LP Letting Go of Forever and debut album The Changing Tides of Dreams.

Championed by tastemakers including Gilles Peterson, Huey Morgan, Deb Grant and Jamie Cullum, the album blends cinematic soul, groove-rooted jazz, lush strings and haunting vocal textures into an emotionally rich and deeply immersive listening experience.

Written and recorded at SHOLTO’s SFJ studio in Hackney, The Sirens explores themes of temptation, duality and emotional dislocation through a world of dreamlike jazz harmonies, harp, strings and hypnotic grooves. The album further establishes SHOLTO as one of the UK’s most distinctive voices in contemporary cinematic jazz and instrumental music.

Following strong support across BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio 3, Jazz FM, NTS Radio and international tastemaker platform COLORS, alongside strong vinyl demand and a sold-out initial pressing, this black vinyl repress campaign aims to meet continued demand for this album.
