SALASA - Golden Child [Japanese Import] SALASA

The long-awaited second pressing of Golden Child, originally released in 2024, is now available on LP in a Clear Lime Yellow vinyl edition. Built around Sarasa's signature groove rooted in soul and R&B, the album features a diverse range of songs, including “Shukufuku”, which incorporates elements of pop and rock; “Tooku Made”, reminiscent of Showa-era folk songs; and “Yokan”, with its soothing, floating melody. A diverse lineup of producers and musicians, including Kota Matsukawa, Shuta Nishida, and uin, also contribute to the album.

The album reflects Salasa's unadorned mindset, characterized by free-spirited ideas and a unique perspective, transforming even negative emotions into affirmative music. Expanding her range of expression beyond her first album, this release captures where she stood at the time and marks a pivotal point leading toward her subsequent major-label debut.
