Richmond Fontaine's Post to Wire, finally gets the deluxe cd treatment with a extra disc of live tracks. Post to Wire comes in a fold out digi pack with bonus live disc with a re-mastered version of the classic album that features the artwork of longtime RF collaborator, Greg Allen. A full-length live CD, "On The Road 2003-2005", taken from the Post to Wire era is also included. Richmond Fontaine frontman Willy Vlautin, says: “This is the band in the early days, cowpunk and raw. The recordings are a bit rough but then we were rough, too".
Richmond Fontaine takes root in the fertile imagination of songwriter, novelist and guitarist Vlautin whom has penned 6 novels with his latest out on Faber & Faber this month, and his previous being made into a full length Netflix movie. The band made 11 studio albums with before breaking up in 2016 with three of the members regrouping to form The Delines whom just finished their fourth studio album which will be out early 2025. The Delines will be touring the EU/UK this June and July as well as throughout 2025.
