Psychic Ills - Dins (20th Anniversary Reissue) Psychic Ills

Psychic Ills’ debut record Dins is being brought back on limited-edition vinyl for its 20th anniversary! Dins takes the band well beyond their astounding live dynamic of circular rhythm and guitar theatrics. They seamlessly blend non-traditional instrumentation and studio improvisation with a surging rock dynamic into an incredibly heavy debut, recorded by Charles Burst who has worked with bands such as Black Dice, Gang Gang Dance and The Double.

Dins overflows with psychedelia — drenched in reverb and boundless droning, the album channels early 90s psych-rock inspirations like Sonic Youth and The Velvet Underground with its eight-minute rock anthems, “I Knew My Name” and “Another Day Another Night.” While other tracks create a blissful state of mind, unwinding your inner tensions and hypnotizing you with endless whirring guitar tones, “Electric Life.” A memorable debut with worldly sonic inspirations, Psychic Ills bring their all to the table in Dins. Sit back, and get ready for a trip of a lifetime.
