Prison hits the road on this album, riding two massive jams across altered routes of consciousness, inspired by the allegorical and literal heavy traffic of the Brooklyn–Queens Expressway, visible from the windows of the studio where Big Rigs on the BQE was recorded.

The requisite Prison gear - guitars, bass, drums, synth, and effects - coughs out exhaust flavoured with The Groundhogs, The Velvet Underground, The Hampton Grease Band, Pink Fairies, Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band, The Good Rats, and Can.

An improvised rock ’n’ roll tapestry, gas and guitar pedals pushed all the way to the metal.
