Memorable 1970 live show from Pink Floyd during their Atom Heart Mother phase.
In October 1970, Pink Floyd released Atom Heart Mother. It was the band's first number one, and was hugely successful, spending 18 weeks on the UK chart. It premiered at the Bath Festival on 27 June 1970. Pink Floyd toured extensively across America and Europe in 1970 and by November were in central Europe. On 28th of the month, Floyd performed at the Saarlandhalle, in Saarbrücken, Germany, where they played a superb set, featuring cuts from the new album alongside a number from previous records, and the whole event was recorded for live broadcast on local FM radio.
Now released on this new 2LP set for the first time on vinyl, this intriguing and enjoyable live Floyd recording will prove a delight for fans everywhere.
