Olivia Rodrigo’s highly anticipated third studio album, ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’, follows her critically acclaimed LP's GUTS and SOUR. The three-time GRAMMY award winner releases the album on June 12, 2026.

Marking a stylistic departure from her first two albums' pop-rock sound and four-letter, single-word titles, ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’ continues Rodrigo's collaboration with longtime collaborator Dan Nigro, who returns as the album's producer. The album takes inspiration from Rodrigo's time in London, and she stated it will be her most experimental yet. One track on the album is said to make reference to the relationship of Sex and the City characters Miranda Hobbes and Steve Brady.
