For many, Nick Nicely has long existed in a category of his own. Moving freely amongst neo and classic psychedelia, experimental pop,lo-fi invention, chamber and sci-fi music, it's a space where epic refrains linger like half-remembered dreams and familiar structures are nudged just far enough sideways to feel newly mysterious.

6th album, Or A Brockley Afternoon has a '60s influence with dream logic and otherworldly storytelling among contemporary DiY flavours. This early taster release gave a first glimpse of the albums "Ghost Orchestra" direction. Then two scorching acid-rock singles ('Facing Awayy and 'Miniature Man' followed and showed no fear of reaching out for the extremes.
