Fortified with a toughness that’s unmistakably Detroit, the track takes you on a cross-country journey, marrying the cool, east coast swagger of T-Neck era Isleys with the laid back groove coveted by the WC lowrider soul scene. A raw expression of the violence far too many young folks have to bear.
