‘Life is beautiful again’ is the debut album of Nadine El Roubi, a Sudanese-born, New York-based singer, rapper, songwriter and multidisciplinary artist.

The album is the culmination of music created over the last three to four years. While the album can be categorized as primarily neo-soul, its true genre remains fluid - shaped by influences in hip-hop, neo-soul and indie music.

Both melancholic and powerful, introspective and self-assured, ‘Life is beautiful again’ explores personal and external chaos, womanhood, belonging and the determination to maintain faith through struggle.

Thematically, it marks a shift from her previous work. Where earlier releases were overtly political, defiant and outward-facing, this album turns inward. It is softer, more reflective, and rooted in the belief that vulnerability can be its own form of strength.

Written and recorded over three years across four cities, the album carries the imprint of many different versions of a Sudanese woman navigating change, loss, love, ambition and growth -these songs became a way of making sense of the world.

At its core, the album’s message is simple: even through the ugliest of times, life will always become beautiful again.
