After five digital albums in a very short time, Jordan Lee’s Mutual Benefit delivered their first formal album in 2013. Love's Crushing Diamond is the debut studio album by American band Mutual Benefit. It was originally released as a limited edition 250 LP run by Soft Eyes on October 7, 2013. The album is defined by exquisite, hushed baroque folk whose central theme is the maintenance of kindness and goodness in a hostile world that ridicules such notions, and Lee’s gorgeous songs still resonate ten years later. Deluxe edition comes with 2011’s EP Cowboy’s Prayer.
