Monstrosity - The Passage of Existence Monstrosity

After nearly a decade without new material, Florida death metal pioneers Monstrosity returned in 2018 with The Passage Of Existence, their first studio album since 2007’s Spiritual Apocalypse.

Originally formed by current CANNIBAL CORPSE vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher and Malevolent Creation drummer Lee Harrison in 1990, MONSTROCITY has and continues to set the bar high for quality American Death Metal, a genre they should be partially credited with establishing.

Over the years, the members of MONSTROCITY reads like a virtual who's who of the American death metal elite, a testament to the reverence the band holds among their peers. The current line-up, including founding member Harrison, has been together for eight years.

Coming off their highly successful 2007 release "Spiritual Apocalypse", Monstrosity enlisted the help of metal producer JASON SUECOF at Audiohammer Studios, and the resulting 2018 album "The Passage Of Existence" was born.

Masterfully crafted death metal for the modern era from the standard bearers of extreme art.
