Monski’s sound feels like a 90s skatevideo on VHS – electronic, warm and lovingly handmade. Imperfections welcome.

The main instruments double bass, guitars and analog synths melt with intense electronic rhythms to deep and hypnotic grooves – instrumental and mostly downtempo.

Monski earns his music gear by shooting films – no wonder his sound is often described as cinematic. Inspired by visuals – especially by captured personal moments which often turn into his releases’ artwork. It’s hard to put this EP into a box – its unique style hovers somewhere between organic downtempo, trip hop, folktronica and house.

Enduros – 6 tracks of Monski’s raw signature sound:

Roller: The moody dragging trip hop groove (88 BPM) starts deep and reduced but resolves into a wider cinematic harmony of synths and strings.

Enduros: Evolving from elements of Roller, it speeds up to 120 BPM and enters the realms of organic house / folktronica. An unpolished handmade beat with driving bass and guitar riffs, culminating in a melodic climax.

Funzel: Organic downtempo electronica (100 BPM). Warm and soft synth chords and a sax sample add a jazzy feel to the rhythmic foundation of double bass, guitars and percussion.
