Blending musical theatre and jazz, the album is regarded as one of the finest recordings from Tormé's years with Verve Records. It features memorable interpretations of songs by Lerner and Loewe, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and Cole Porter, including On the Street Where You Live, Hello, Young Lovers, The Surrey with the Fringe on Top, and Too Darn Hot.

This Verve Vault edition is all-analogue, cut from the original master tapes by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound and pressed on 180g vinyl.
