MARY BLACK - Anthology (1983 - 2019) - 3LP - Vinyl Set [MAR 20]
3LP - Black Vinyl.
"As a child, singing was my happy place, never a plan, never a promise, just joy. Turning that passion into a career felt too big to imagine, and yet here I am... that it became my life still feels like a blessing. Back in 1983, Joe and his brother Paul started a label for my first solo album. Little did we know then what was to follow and that I would still be performing 43 years later. Since that first record, it has been an extraordinary journey, filled with special and outstanding moments. The music has taken me and my superb band all over the world, and I am truly grateful for every experience. As all of this draws to a close I was asked to compile an anthology from my catalogue. I have chosen the songs I love best and also the ones that I feel best represent me from beginning to end – I hope you enjoy it. Le Grá Mór" - Mary
Mary will be appearing on The Late Late Show RTE 1 Friday 20th March.
