His trademark vocal quaver and excellent technical ability allowed him to turn in outstanding performances in a wide variety of genres.

This release features Marty Robbins' follow-up album to his successful Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs(1959): More Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs, originally issued on the Columbia label in the summer of 1960. The LP would peak at number 21 on the pop album charts.
