Lucrecia Dalt - Rabbit Trap (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Lucrecia Dalt

After early recordings with Colombian Collective Series and a contribution to Monika Enterprise’s 4 Women No Cry (2008), Dalt’s sound evolved across moves from Medellín to Barcelona and Berlin. Albums like Commotus (2012), Syzygy (2013), and Ou (2015) traced increasingly abstract territory.

With RVNG Intl., Dalt released Anticlines (2018), No era sólida (2020), and ¡Ay! (2022)—each expanding her sonic and conceptual palette. ¡Ay! earned Album of the Year from The Wire, and top-ten placement from Pitchfork, The New York Times, and NPR.

Her latest album, A Danger to Ourselves features collaborators including David Sylvian, Juana Molina, and Camille Mandoki, Dalt crafts vivid, personal soundscapes—pushing beyond lo-fi approaches toward greater clarity and emotional resonance. Focus track features vocals by actress Rosy McEwen (Daphne Davenport)

Seeking new inspiration and a fresh start, married musicians Daphne (Rosy McEwan) and Darcy (Dev Patel) move to the Welsh countryside to finish their new record. While collecting audio samples, Darcy inadvertently creates a field recording of mysterious sound never before heard by human ears. The discovery renews Daphne’s creative energy, but as the echoes of her music bleed into the surrounding landscape, ancient and malevolent woodland forces are disturbed.
