3LP - Limited Edition Super-Heavyweight 200g Vinyl set:

• Taken from King Crimson’s final US concert in Washington, DC, September 2021
• Four additional tracks taken from the first concert of the second leg of that US tour in Albany, New York, in August 2021
• Cut by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering
• Pressed on 200gram vinyl at the Vinyl Factory, UK

This King Crimson album is significant insofar as the actual concerts it's taken from are so recent - August and September this year - as King Crimson became one of the first bands to undertake a full US tour since lockdown. It also appears that the Washington DC concert was the last KC gig in North America - where the band first toured back in October 1969. (When KC performed its debut gig in the US in '69, '21st Century Schizoid Man' was the set opener. When they played in Washington this year, it was the final piece played). The audience that night attended a very special gig and this is a permanent record of it.

It is now being made available as a limited edition 3lp set, re-sequenced from the cd running order to maintain the complete release, including the four pieces from the first concert of the tour’s second leg in Albany. Taken together, these tracks represent both a beginning and an end of a tour that took place despite almost insurmountable issues.
