JUN JIKOOHA - Ub Days E.P. [Japanese Import] JUN JIKOOHA

The second release from Tokyo-based Cozzmic Sonic Records! Jun Jikooha, a key member of the Goa trance unit Jikooha, which has been active since the 1990s, and an avid explorer of acid sounds, releases UB Days e.p. on 12-inch vinyl and digital formats.

The title track, UB Days, is a cutting-edge 303 track that updates the golden age of acid house for today’s dancefloors. The remix comes from Sancho Meiso Chaya, a seasoned dub and experimental artist who has performed at major festivals across Europe.

Their Sancho Meiso Chaya Remix reimagines the title track as a spacey, trippy dub techno piece. The two B-side tracks, The Planets Move In and D.Y.E.S., blend the TB-303 with SH-101 sequenced sounds and effects, creating uplifting grooves reminiscent of '90s rave.
