To celebrate the release of her new LP The Gem, Spindizzy Records welcomes Julia Jacklin for a very special in-store performance and signing.
Released on 25th September and marking her debut for 4AD, The Gem was produced by Julia Jacklin and Robert Muinos and recorded entirely in Melbourne. Inspired by a beloved local venue that became a creative home and community hub, the album explores the tension between love, freedom and self-discovery. First single "Get Away From Me (I Think I'll Love You Soon)" offers a bold, jangly introduction to Jacklin's most personal and immersive record to date.
A unique Ruby Red Vinyl edition of The Gem has been pressed exclusively for this event. As the album is not released until 25th September, copies will not be available to take away on the day of the event and will instead be shipped or made available for collection on or around the official release date. To ensure everyone has something special to take away from the event, attendees will receive an exclusive signed print from Julia Jacklin.
