Josephine Foster - Graphic as a Star Josephine Foster
Limited edition black vinyl & DL card.
First time on vinyl in over 10 years.
Graphic as a Star is based upon the poems of the 19th-century American poet Emily Dickinson. Josephine Foster lays stairsteppy melodies beneath a collection of Dickinson gems and sings them with a burnished soulfulness like the purple sunsets so often described in the poems. Massachusetts mountains, pearled spiderwebs and folk hero William Tell are all present in this unforgettable meeting of Dickinson's poetry and Foster's music, making a natural and inevitable whole.
Originally released in 2009, this highly collectable album returns to vinyl for the first time in more than a decade.
