This 50th Anniversary Expanded Edition celebrates one of the most iconic albums in music history: John Lennon’s Imagine.  Remixed from the original multitrack tapes, the edition also includes rare outtakes that offer a deeper look into the creative process behind the album.

Recorded and released in 1971, the album marked a shift toward a gentler, more commercial sound, moving away from the raw, avant-garde style of his debut, John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band. It features seminal tracks such as “Imagine,” “Jealous Guy,” “Give Me Some Truth,” and “How Do You Sleep?”, along with notable contributions from fellow ex-Beatle George Harrison. 

In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Imagine at number 76 on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
