James Carr - You Got My Mind Messed Up James Carr
Standard CD in a jewel case.
James Carr's 1967 masterpiece, expanded with a dozen additional Goldwax cuts, several never released before. Includes both the title track and 'The Dark End Of The Street', regarded by many as the ultimate deep-soul record. Nearly every track is newly mixed to stereo from the original multitracks, faithfully following the mono originals rather than remixing them
Bonus material draws on rare Japanese-only releases and genuinely new finds, including 'A Lucky Loser '. Sleeve notes by Barney Hoskyns tell the full story of Carr's life
